"Mrs. Yvonne (Rufus King) Young Passes

  
 

YVONNE SMITH BRUNER YOUNG, 76, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, March 30, 2003, in Little Rock, Ark. Yvonne was a native of Baton Rouge, La., a retired teacher and resource teacher in the Baton Rouge School System. She was a member of Bethel AME Church, Baton Rouge and later Bethel AME Church, Little Rock. She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Yvonne is survived by her husband of 16 years, Rev. Rufus K. Young Sr.; a daughter, Angela Bruner Brent and son-in-law, Charles H. Brent of Arlington, Texas; and three grandchildren. Also one sisterin-law, Bertha Lewis of Little Rock. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2003, 2 p.m., Bethel AME Church, 815 W. 16 th, Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Bethel AME Missionary Society. Services entrusted to Premier Funeral Home, 1518 S. Battery St., Little Rock, Ark. 72202, (501) 376-4800, Edward Shelton, Director.
